Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a visa?

Nationals of the European Union, European Economic Area and Switzerland, DO NOT need a visa to enter the country.

Spain is part of the Schengen Zone. Citizens from other countries may also enter the country for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa. However, you will be required to have a valid passport for at least three months beyond your period of stay, and may be required to present other documents such as proof of return tickets and financial support. Check here if your country is eligible for visa-free travel.

If you need a visa, and application can be made at the Spanish embassy in your country of residence. We strongly encourage you to review all requirements and apply as soon as you are allowed to, which is three months before your date of travel.

For any additional questions we recommend you visit your countries Spanish embassy or Spanish Government’s website. The WMMC team will also be glad to assist you in case you might need an official letter of assistance to the conference for  your application.
